Hello
I don't know about anyone else, but I truly feel that women need to have the opportunity to express their opinions in an environment that allows them to do so without being criticized by their friends and loved ones. I am a married, working mother of three biological and one acquired. I have two grandchildren. My job requries a lot from me and so does my family. I want to be able to make both my family life and my professional life work, but there are times when I feel like giving up. Sure no one wants to admit it, but the more I listen to women, truly listen to women, I realize that we are crying out for help. It is imperative that women stand up and support each other. This blog site was created to give women the opportunity to let it all out. No one has to know who you are. Get it out! Get it out! Get it out!

Having a website such as "Serenity-Hear My Cry" helps women to release the stress of the day in such a way that only they can TRULY be understood. We, as women, are naturally the nurturer to our family. The question becomes though, who is nurturing us? Do we not need to feel protected, cared for, appreciated? We do, yet we often neglect ourselves, allowing others to neglect us, leading to low self-worth and often times depression. Hear at Serenity-Hear My Cry, you can release all of those emotions and know that you have support here to help you have "serene" days ahead!
ReplyDeleteI feel you Immensely Covered. Who nurtures us? No one. We get lost in the shuffle and then feel guilty when we dare to do something for ourselves. It makes absolutely no sense when you think about it. I mean, why and who ordained it to be a crime for us to take care of ourselves? If we don't, who will? The sad truth is that sometimes, no one will. And the other sad truth is that women hate on each other far too much. At least participating in this blog group gives us an audience. A way to say what we have to say without worrying about what others will say. Well, we are probably still concerned with that, but the think is that we don't know each other, so it works out fine. I think I like this and will invite others.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like it will be an awesome way for women to share, vent, and express themselves freely. We all go through things, but are sometimes afraid to tell one another for fear of being judged or critizied. This site allows us to free ourselves of that fear. It is also comfortable to know that everyone will share their joys and sorrows as both are important in our overall character development. Sharing the joys may encourage someone who is feeling like giving up and sharing the sorrows, openly and honestly, will let someone who is going through the storm know that they are not alone. Thanks for creating this blog!
