Wow!!

Ever took a minute to stop and think, only to look around and discover how many years have quickly passes you by. The old saying, "Time waits for no one," has been constantly in my thoughts lately. I keep saying by the time I am ______, I want to ________. That saying rushes to the forefront of my mind each time that I say that. I am making a conscious decision today to live while I can. I don't know where death is, but I do know that I have put a lot of things on hold for senseless reasons. Reasons like what will the people say if I, how will I be viewed, etc, etc, etc. The bottom line is that as long as I am not doing anything outside of the will of God, there is no reason why I cannot do those things that I have always secretly desired to do. There is no reason for me not to travel. Ladies, children are not an excuse not to travel. Children are not a reason not to finish or begin a new educational avenue. Stop looking for excuses. Of course it may not always be easy, but no one said it would be. Think of how great you will feel once you have overcome and been successful despite the odds. I am going to build a house and be debt free by the time I am 45. It is going to take discipline and hard work, but I am going to do it. It all begins with me and what I believe. What are your dreams? What are your secret desires? Make a list of things that you want to do; now do them. When the first list is complete, make a new one. Live your life. Give yourself permission to have fun. Give yourself permission to take care of you. Liberate yourself. If you don't, no one will. Paul Tournier once said, "Nothing makes us so lonely as our secrets." It's true you know. Secrets can cause us to feel bad or to think less highly of ourselves than we should. Let's be the powerful creatures that we were created to be. Let's WOW ourselves a little more.
